Communications Coordinator (Hybrid position)

The Harvard Business School Association of Boston (HBSAB) is a non‑profit organization affiliated with Harvard Business School. HBSAB connects leaders who make a difference in the world and organizes a broad range of activities and programs each year, including Alumni Forums, Angel Pitch Events, Community Action Partners (CAP) programs, speaking events featuring authors, CEOs, and professors, startup partners, and social networking events to enrich and develop our alumni community. We are currently seeking a Communications Coordinator to assist CAP and the HBSAB. This is a full‑time salaried position with a projected salary range of $40,000 – $50,000 depending on relevant experience. This is a hybrid role; general working hours are remote but we do have frequent in‑person events and meetings in the evening. Responsibilities

Manage club marketing, including emails and social media posts (reels, photos, graphics) for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook Provide analytical analysis on the performance of emails and social media posts Create materials and messaging to attract various audience segments per event Develop monthly planning calendars prepared ahead on all our channels Assist in the coordination of in‑person and virtual events, schedule speakers, and contact vendors Manage setup, breakdown, and event logistics for in‑person events (4‑5 per month) Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications or 1‑2 years of relevant experience Established track record of building creative, original, engaging content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook Extensive knowledge and mastery of social channel mechanics, best practices, and building engagement Demonstrated understanding of modern marketing (digital, CRM, experiential & social) Experience in design programs like Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus Employee to work remotely using own computer and software Knowledge and understanding of social media publishing platforms (e.g., HootSuite, Sprinklr) Knowledge of creating analytical reports Seniority level
