Job Summary The primary role of the

Senior Software Engineer

is to design, develop, and deliver high-performance, mission-critical software applications. This role focuses on building modern, scalable systems across the full technology stack, working in an Agile environment to support complex operational needs. You’ll collaborate closely with analysts, stakeholders, and DevOps teams to deliver software that drives real-world impact.

Position Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using Java, Python, or similar languages

Build modern, user-friendly interfaces using frameworks such as React or Angular

Debug, test, and optimize performance across distributed systems

Support and integrate CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams

Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to define requirements and iterate rapidly

Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment

Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and mission requirements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Minimum 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in application software development.

Expert‑level experience in software engineering across the full development lifecycle

Hands‑on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, React, and Spring Boot

Strong understanding of distributed systems, containerization and cloud technologies

An active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

Experience working in Agile development environments

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions

Salary Range Salary Range: $195,000 – $222,000

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity, as well as alignment with market data.

Clearance Level Top Secret with Poly

ITAR Requirement U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and/or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
