Staff Global Supply Manager
to drive sourcing execution and operational readiness for our Electromechanical category focused on
Controls and Display , including electronic hardware, PCBAs, sensors, and interface displays. This U.S.-based role serves as the key interface between engineering, finance, design, program management, and Asia-based Global Supply Managers (GSMs), ensuring tight feedback loops and disciplined program execution. Leveraging deep GSM experience, you will align cross-functional teams on cost, schedule, supplier readiness, and risk, enabling rapid, data-driven decision-making across complex global supply chains
What You Will Do Own operational delivery for the Controls and Display category, ensuring cost targets, schedules, quality, and continuity of supply are met
Coordinate with Asia-based GSMs to execute sourcing strategies, including RFIs, DFMs, and RFQs, aligned with NPI and production milestones
Manage supplier readiness and execution, proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving risks related to capacity, cost, quality, or lead time
Consolidate sourcing status, cost positions, and schedule impacts into clear leadership and executive reporting
Partner closely with U.S.-based engineering, design, finance, and manufacturing teams to translate technical and commercial requirements into actionable sourcing directives
Enable rapid decision-making by clearly communicating trade-offs, risks, and mitigation plans
Align with Technical Program Managers, Engineering Program Managers, and Operations leads to ensure integrated program execution
Support and participate in supplier negotiations and contract reviews (e.g., NDAs, purchase agreements, SOWs) to secure favorable commercial terms
Participate in supplier and manufacturing site reviews to address critical technical, quality, or commercial topics
Maintain awareness of preferred vendors and approved suppliers, ensuring capabilities align with program needs
Travel 25–30% domestically and internationally to supplier sites, manufacturing locations, and Asia-based operations offices
What You Will Bring 5+ years of supply chain, sourcing, or operations experience, including 3+ years as a Global Supply Manager or equivalent
Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, cost management, and contract execution
Strong experience with RFQ, RFI, and DFM processes, including executive-level presentations
Demonstrated ability to manage electronics or electromechanical supply chains, including PCBAs, controls, displays, sensors, or related components
Familiarity with NPI supply chain execution and manufacturing readiness
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to operate across multiple time zones and cultures
Effective communicator with a track record of building strong relationships across engineering, operations, and supplier teams
Experience in aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, or other high-tech manufacturing environments
Strong background in supply chain management, sourcing, or mechanical engineering (BSME/MSME often preferred)
Proven negotiation, program management, and communication skills in multinational environments
Expertise in costing, financial analysis, and contract management
Preferred Deep category experience in PCBAs, electromechanical assemblies, electronic components, controls, or display technologies
Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent
The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
