Duration:
1 year contract with the possibility of up to 4 additional 1 year extension
Shift Schedule:
12-hour shifts
Day: 07:30AM 08:00PM Night: 07:30PM 08:00AM Weekends and federal holidays required (alternating preferred) How many shifts needed per month:
Approximately 14 16 shifts per FTE
Credentialing / Onboarding time:
6 weeks to 8 weeks
License: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (any U.S. state)
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
(includes CPR) Experience needed: Minimum
1 year
recent experience (worked within the last 6 months) in:
Med/Surg Long-term care Inpatient psychiatric setting Special Skills needed:
Vital signs monitoring and documentation Patient hygiene, mobility, and ADL support 1:1 patient safety observation EKG performance Specimen collection and transport Infection control and safety awareness Responsibilities:
Assist RNs with patient care and monitoring Perform and document vital signs and patient observations Provide personal care and safety support Transport patients to procedures and appointments Maintain infection control standards Accurate documentation in VA systems
