Aprio is continuing to grow and we have a few exciting openings in our DC market for Senior Managers in the Transaction Advisory practice.

Location: DC area - Hybrid on-site 1-2 days per week in the Rockville or DC office

Role Title: Senior Manager, Transaction Advisory Services (Financial Due Diligence)

What You'll Own

  • Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements from planning to delivery.
  • Analyze historical financials, QoE, working capital, revenue trends, and key operating metrics.
  • Serve as a primary client-facing contact, engaging directly with senior executives and private equity leaders.
  • Provide clear commentary on financial performance, risks, and value drivers.
  • Guide and mentor engagement teams; support career development and technical growth.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, pitch participation, and relationship building.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables under tight timelines.

Must-Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in Audit, Finance, or Transaction Advisory Services.
  • Minimum 3+ years directly focused on financial due diligence or M&A transactions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and M&A processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to communicate confidently with senior executives, PE investors, and C-suite leaders.
  • Strong project management skills with experience running multiple engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience mentoring or leading engagement teams.
  • Prior exposure to government contracting, construction, or technology industries.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts at a firm or practice level.
