Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment such as conveyors, forklifts, automated systems, and dock equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and implement solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to safety regulations.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- May assist with installations of new equipment.
- Wear appropriate PPE during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the overall logistics and operational goals of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
