This role demands a professional with over 15 years' experience in FP&A, with a minimum of 8 years in the biotech or pharma industry, and a strong background in clinical development, commercial planning, and portfolio economics. The VP, FP&A will be responsible for driving scenario-based decision-making on pipeline investments, commercial readiness, and capital allocation, and must have a proven track record of influencing across functions and leading high-impact teams in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities for the VP, FP&A include developing long-range financial models, representing finance in various forums, and leading the corporate planning cycle to ensure alignment with strategy and regulatory guidance. The role requires a hands-on leader with advanced technical skills in financial modeling, ERP systems, EPM tools, and BI platforms. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred. The ideal candidate will have a commercial focus, with experience in developing launch P&Ls, demand forecasts, and product-level financial strategies, particularly for specialty or orphan drugs.
