Credit Analyst (Bilingual in English & Korean) (Norcross)

Primary Duties:
Credit Analyst supports HD HCE NAs Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Treasury functions through daily operations focused on collections, AR reporting, credit management, and cash applications. This role ensures accurate financial transactions, timely payment collection, and strong customer relationships while contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organization.
Responsibilities: - AR/Credit Management - Create and utilize daily AR reports to identify collection priorities and potential account issues. - Ensure timely collection of payments from dealers and customers. - Process cash application of incoming payments via wire or lockbox, including issuing credit and debit memos. - Assist with invoicing issues and confirm receipt with various dealers. - Monitor daily credit limit exposure and escalate issues as needed. - Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal HDINA business units. - Investigate and resolve cash application discrepancies. - Maintain effective communication between Credit, internal departments, and customers/dealers. - Support supervisors with priority activities to achieve departmental and enterprise-wide goals.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. - 35 years of experience in finance or accounting. - Bilingual in English and Korean - Strong financial analysis skills, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis. - Experience with financing and commercial laws and procedures (UCC/UCP/security instruments/international commerce preferred). - Familiarity with collections and insolvency laws. - Knowledge of cash application and AR processes. - Strong B2B collections experience. - Advanced Excel and SAP skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP. - Good English conversation and writing skills. - Knowledge of the industry and markets served is preferred.
Work environment and other requirements: The work environment is a non-smoking office environment. No heavy lifting required. Mostly sitting with computer and phone usage. Accommodations can be made for handicapped employee. Travel only on an as needed basis. Travel is expected to be less than 10%.
