e&e is seeking a PMO Project Management Resource for a remote contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!
The PMO Project Management Resource is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple information technology projects of varying size and complexity across the full project lifecycle. This role partners closely with business owners, technical teams, vendors, and project sponsors to ensure successful delivery of project objectives while adhering to established project management standards and methodologies. The ideal candidate brings strong project governance, communication, and risk management skills, along with experience managing enterprise IT initiatives.
Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the activities of internal and external resources supporting multiple IT projects of varying complexity. Develop, maintain, and execute project plans and related artifacts in alignment with established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies. Collaborate with business owners, analysts, and stakeholders to define, validate, and refine project scope and objectives. Perform end-to-end project management activities, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and project closeout. Track and manage project scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, dependencies, and vendor deliverables. Facilitate lessons learned sessions during and after project completion to identify process improvements and best practices. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with technology teams, business partners, project sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with PMO standards, playbooks, and referenced governance artifacts.
Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project and project management across projects of various sizes and subject matters. Demonstrated experience managing project integration, scope, schedule, cost, communications, vendor relationships, and risk management. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices across the project lifecycle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred / Desired Skills Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience using ServiceNow, particularly Idea, Project, and Demand modules. Experience supporting enterprise business solutions, including SAP-related projects. Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.
