Controller
The Controller manages all financial oversight of plant operations to include financial planning, performance analysis and reporting, preparation of monthly and annual P & L statements, balance sheets, general ledger and cost accounting activities; capital and operating budget development and statutory reporting for the plant.
Responsibilities Oversee all financial and accounting functions to include general ledger, financial planning, budgeting, capital investments, accounts payable and receivable, management information systems, and cost accounting Support new business launches and provide required support to Sales and Engineering personnel in quotations on new or existing products. Ensure ERP system is operational and accurate to provide correct financial reporting data, assuring that production reporting and scrap reporting is accurate. Oversee preparation of all necessary Division financial reports Prepare reporting systems for other departments budgets and all required financial information on a monthly and annual basis Lead the preparation of quarterly forecasts, tax packages, property tax and sales and use tax Provide ongoing training and coaching to employees to ensure proper communication and adherence to all company procedures, policies, rules, and standard work instructions.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field of study; or equivalent work experience 5+ years supervisory experience with an ability to lead, guide, and motivate employees 5+ years related experience, understanding of Accounting concepts and methodologies, including inventory control, budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting Certified Public Accountant preferred
