As an expanding investment bank, our core focus is on sell-side M&A for both founder-owned businesses and private equity-backed companies. We are looking for highly entrepreneurial bankers to join our team and contribute to the continued growth of our thriving Fintech practice.
Responsibilities Lead and execute end-to-end M&A and co-investment transactions within the Fintech sector, including Payments, Wealthtech, and BankTech. This spans the entire deal lifecycle, from initial client pitches through to successful closings. Drive business development by initiating new client relationships and strategically expanding the firm's presence within your designated industry sector. Foster internal collaboration by actively cross-selling and partnering with our Sponsor and broader coverage teams. Ensure the highest quality of client deliverables, upholding our firm's standards of excellence. Mentor and develop middle to junior-level staff, enhancing their capabilities within the execution pool.
Qualifications Proven M&A origination and execution experience from a bulge bracket, reputable boutique, middle-market, or regional investment bank, specifically within the Fintech sectors. Relevant securities licenses are required. Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree. Highly comfortable with new business development and demonstrating persistence in pursuing potential clients and transactions. Strong ability to make effective decisions through insightful information analysis and strategic prioritization. Demonstrated success in fee generation with strong business development skills. General familiarity with investment banking operations, procedures, and compliance matters. Ability to provide credible strategic viewpoints and advice to senior management and owners of client companies. Active Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses.
