POSITION SUMMARY: Provides general support to Portfolio Managers, Research Team, Portfolio Operations, Marketing and Administration.Areas of support include security research, quantitative research, portfolio modeling, trade entry, and administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Assist Portfolio Manager on quantitative model implementation, stock selection, and trading across global markets. This position will learn and actively work on equity portfolios and a credit portfolio with both institutional and individual client roster. The expected career track is for the position to gradually grow in expertise in the oversight of portfolios towards a full Portfolio Manager. In the meantime, this Assistant PM will learn these portfolios, help manage these portfolios, and will learn talk to clients and consultants about their portfolios. 2.Qualitative research on individual securities within specified investable universes. 3.Working with the trading team to enter and monitor portfolio trading. 4.Evaluating settled cash in portfolios across global markets. 5.Monitor account weightings versus portfolio models. 6.Monitoring accounts versus client guidelines. 7.Update account holdings for research web sites. 8.Manage retail and institutional account cash flows, ensuring all accounts will stay within dispersion tolerance guidelines. 9.Work with private clients and advisors to assist with account needs. 10. Prepare and coordinate presentation material between various departments. This includes data collection, dissemination and final report preparation. 11. Prepare data and verbiage for monthly client communication. 12. Review and resolve performance outliers 13. Prepare, review and disseminate daily performance reports 14. Review and ensure data within Denalis systems 15. Help manage Bloomberg functionality for portfolio staff

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Performs other job related duties as assigned. 2.Back up other team members where necessary.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 1.Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well. 2.Degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent education or experience (strong emphasis on Math background). 3.Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 4.Ability to be very flexible, to work with deadlines and confidential issues, work well under pressure and stress and have highly developed organizational skills. 5.Proficiency in Word and Excel required, strong spreadsheet experience required. Strong general computer skills including the internet.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies and employees. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
