Job Description We are looking for an experienced Parking Manager to assist with the operations of parking facilities, including overseeing day‑to‑day operations, working with the closing shift, collecting and reporting revenues, supervising staff, and maintaining facility and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day operations
Assist with planning, organizing, and delegating tasks to hourly employees
Manage daily and monthly parking assignments
Handle access device management (programming, assigning, and reconciliation)
Lead training, scheduling, and coaching efforts for team members
Identify facility areas requiring attention and implement appropriate cleaning and maintenance measures
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in cultivating a professional, diverse, and customer‑focused team
Ensure all facilities operate in accordance with company policy and procedures, including revenue control, equipment maintenance, proper signage, and flow of parking operations
Ensure locations are properly staffed, stocked, and have opening/closing procedures
Manage the business to limit revenue loss, theft, or shrinkage
Assist in collecting, recording, and depositing revenues
Oversight of contract parker program, billing, and daily completeness
Gather, review, and verify accurate completion of daily and monthly reports
Promote a work environment that values integrity, problem‑solving, collaboration, and transparency
Respond to email, direct mail, and calls with prompt customer‑oriented service, resolving issues without executive management involvement whenever possible
Assist in training tenants and customers with garage online validation programs and parking procedures
Qualifications Parking experience required.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to produce reports and spreadsheets
Ability to calculate basic mathematical figures in Excel
Parking management experience (preferred but not required)
Ability to read, analyze, interpret business documents, procedures, or regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Effective verbal and written communication skills at an expert level
Valid driver’s license and ability to perform errands via personal vehicle
Drug testing and background check required
Professional appearance
Preferred Experience & Skills
Experience working with gated equipment (preferred)
Courteous and tactful to patrons, visitors, and employees
Strong analytical skills to summarize data and reports
Reliable with ability to work a varied and flexible schedule
