About The Role
Our client, a growing real estate company, is seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to support its accounting operations onsite in Orange County. This role will handle full-cycle accounting responsibilities and play a key role in financial reporting, AP/AR, and month-end close.
Ideal candidates will have a solid accounting foundation, real estate experience, and a flexible, hands‑on approach suited to a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Compensation Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
Primary Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions, including AP, AR, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
Handle monthly close, prepare financial statements, and assist with budgeting and forecasting
Support CAM reconciliations and rent escalations, including coordination with tenants as needed
Collaborate with leasing, property management, and other internal teams to ensure financial accuracy
Provide accounting support for ad hoc projects and cross‑functional initiatives
Transition into a supervisory role overseeing another accountant post‑maternity leave
Candidate Qualifications
At least 5 years of full‑cycle accounting experience
Real estate industry experience required; commercial or industrial property experience preferred
Hands‑on knowledge of budgeting, rent adjustments, and CAM reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
Must be able to work onsite full‑time in Orange County
