HyerTek is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Pages, and Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Service for federal government clients. This hands‑on development role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and well‑structured applications within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Develop Power Apps (Model‑Driven) applications using Microsoft Dataverse
Build and maintain Power Pages sites to support external or internal user access
Configure and extend Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Service, including entities, forms, views, workflows and business rules
Create and maintain Power Automate flows to automate business processes and system integrations
Implement Power Fx‑based logic and support performance optimization efforts
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services and external systems using REST APIs
Support Power BI reports and dashboards tied to Dataverse and Dynamics 365 data
Participate in requirements discussions and translate designs into working solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate and Dynamics 365
Support solution packaging, deployments and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and Power Platform tools
Contribute to technical documentation and participate in Agile development activities
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365
Hands‑on experience with:
Power Apps (Model‑Driven)
Power Automate
Dataverse
Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Service
Power Pages
Working knowledge of Power Fx and Dataverse data modeling
Experience integrating solutions with REST APIs and Azure services
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD concepts
Experience working within Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Azure Entra ID
Proficiency with JSON and at least one scripting or programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript or C#)
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently with guidance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PCF controls or custom connectors
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Service features such as case management, queues and SLAs
Exposure to Copilot Studio or AI Builder
Experience supporting solutions in federal or regulated environments
Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense clearance. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future. HyerTek does not sponsor U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
Work onsite at HyerTek offices up to two (2) days per week.
Salary Range:
$115,000 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience, technical depth, and clearance eligibility.
