This role supports the United States Space Force’s satellite communications systems as part of a systems engineering team focused on space‑communication technology.
Responsibilities
Support Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
Interface and collaborate with SE&I team members, contractors, government civilians, and USSF personnel.
Lead and support working groups responsible for technical discussions, risk and requirement gap resolution, briefings, writing, action‑item tracking, and meeting minutes.
Design, engineer, analyze, and develop software prototypes and/or applications as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
Engage with stakeholders to define the problem space and vision and determine capabilities and priorities.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle: user story creation, design, development, automated testing, and operational support.
Create intuitive user interfaces that enable efficient data management and system oversight.
Design and develop new visualization features to meet evolving end‑user requirements.
Work with complex algorithms to deliver optimized solutions for the end user.
Ensure software maintainability and overall adherence to user requirements and departmental standards.
Drive continuous improvement through process and tooling recommendations.
Mentor team members by sharing innovative ideas and industry best practices.
