Responsibilities
Teach middle school Math, integrating interdisciplinary team learning and technology.
Develop and lead an advisory curriculum focused on character education and social‑emotional and ethical learning (SEEL); support 12–14 students as advisor.
Plan and execute lessons in varied settings: classroom, learning centers, outdoor experiences.
Collaborate with grade‑level teams to modify curriculum and assessments aligned with the school's mission.
Coach school math team and/or prepare students for national contests such as the Continental Math League, AIME, and MATHCOUNTS.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in a middle school or equivalent education/experience.
Experience working with diverse student populations and sensitivity to adolescent developmental needs.
Strong knowledge of math curriculum, instructional methodologies, and contemporary educational research.
Proficiency with technology integration and basic software applications.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, parents, and the broader community.
Willingness to engage in professional development and Professional Learning Communities.
Position Details
Work Year: 9 months
School Year: 2026-2027
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (schedule may vary)
Faculty Salary Range*: $59,790 – $120,828 (dependent on education & experience)
