What You Will Do
Liaison for all Field Excellence capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of field effectiveness initiatives.
Serve as the strategic advisor to sales leadership (NSDs and Regional Directors) ensuring connectivity of sales force strategy & execution across cross field excellence initiatives.
Lead/co‑lead special initiatives and projects (e.g., Sales Force size & structure, launch readiness, pilot tests and learnings).
Assist the Director in developing and executing field effectiveness strategy and programs across the portfolio, with specific focus on your business unit.
Work closely with US Analytics, Reporting, and other key stakeholders to develop robust sales force metrics and dashboard systems; assess field performance metrics and industry trends to proactively identify and address areas for improvement.
Facilitate coordinating execution and pull‑through of field force projects such as customer targeting, field reporting, field alerts/suggestions, omnichannel/digital, and field transformation.
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of managers and senior managers, building a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability.
Collaborate with the broader Commercial Data & Analytics (CD&A) team and other cross‑functional groups to ensure integrated and effective execution of field strategies.
Monitor industry trends and marketplace to stay ahead of competition, enhancing and evolving capabilities to adapt to changing business needs.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree + 3 years of experience in sales analytics, field effectiveness, life sciences management consulting, or field sales within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Masters degree + 5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of relevant experience.
Associate’s degree + 12 years of relevant experience.
High‑school diploma/GED + 14 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think creatively and innovatively to influence sales leadership.
Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to diagnose business issues and incorporate findings into strategy.
Project Management: Ability to lead cross‑functional teams to prioritize and implement operational improvements.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment of initiatives.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate vision, goals, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
Team Leadership: Experience building and developing high‑performing teams across a matrix organization.
