Position Summary As a Public Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the multi‑cloud strategy of our client through the design and development of advanced, scalable, and secure reference architectures across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is a highly technical role with an emphasis on reusable, strategic cloud patterns and automation, enabling efficient cloud adoption and governance at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture Development (Primary Duty):

Design and maintain cloud‑native architectures for Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI that align with enterprise security, scalability, compliance, published architecture standards, and operational requirements.

Develop and publish end‑to‑end solution blueprints for IaaS, PaaS, containerized, and serverless workloads.

Incorporate Zero Trust and Privileged Access Management principles within architectures.

Communicate with customers to understand application/migration requirements and translate these requirements into cloud architectures.

Governance, Security, and Best Practices:

Define architectural designs incorporating existing cloud governance models including tagging, policy enforcement, and FinOps.

Develop architectures that are cost effective but are flexible enough to give the customer the final decision.

Evaluate new cloud services, tools, and industry trends to ensure modern, future‑proof architectures.

Documentation and Enablement:

Produce detailed technical documentation, costing plans, and architecture diagrams.

Conduct workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions with business stakeholders.

Qualifications Required

4+ years of experience in cloud architecture roles with deep expertise in at least two public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI).

Proven experience designing reference architectures used across large enterprise environments.

Hands‑on expertise in:

LucidChart diagramming

Cloud cost estimation

Development of Public Cloud design patterns

Strong understanding of security, compliance, identity, and network architecture in public cloud.

Preferred

Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Pro, Azure Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, OCI Architect).

Experience in multi‑cloud FinOps and cloud cost governance.

Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $100,000–$145,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
