Overview The Reservations & Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing rooms revenue through management of the hotel’s room inventory, and for assisting in the day‑to‑day activities and duties of the Reservations Department. The role requires strong guest service and sales experience, independence, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Manage telephone service and ensure timely answering of calls.
Score calls, coach staff, and handle guest complaints.
Train new staff and update experienced staff on new procedures.
Ensure staff manage leads and follow‑ups appropriately.
Manage breaks, shift changes, and communicate scheduling changes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous management experience preferred.
Prior call center, front office, or reservations experience required.
Experience with Opera Property Management System and Revinate preferred.
Multi‑tasking and leadership abilities.
Excellent guest service and sales skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented.
Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for overtime.
