Sr. Manager, Visual Merchandising

Responsibilities Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution
Lead the planning, development, and implementation of Oura’s visual merchandising strategy across all retail partners in the Americas.
Ensure a consistent, premium brand presentation across all in‑store touchpoints – from permanent fixtures to seasonal and promotional displays.
Manage the full lifecycle of display programs: design, prototyping, production, distribution, installation, and maintenance.
Partner with Retail Channel Marketing, Brand, Product Marketing and Creative teams to translate marketing and brand objectives into physical retail experiences.
Retail Fixture Development & Program Management
Collaborate with internal design team and external partners from concept through installation, ensuring designs meet cost, quality, and sustainability goals.
Collaborate closely with third‑party fabricators, logistics partners, and third‑party installation teams to deliver best‑in‑class retail displays on time and within budget.
Establish and maintain robust processes for quality control, compliance, and fixture maintenance across all retail environments.
Manage fixture rollout calendars, track progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
Budget Management & Operations
Own and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets related to visual merchandising and fixture programs.
Develop accurate cost estimates, manage purchase orders, SOWs and ensure fiscal discipline throughout all project stages.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and scalability in the fixture development and deployment process.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Retail Channel Marketing, Sales, Creative, Brand, and Operations teams to ensure retail environments align with business objectives and support key product launches.
Collaborate with global counterparts to align visual merchandising standards and share best practices across regions.
Support retail readiness for new product launches, ensuring all displays, fixtures, and materials are installed and live at retail on time.
Retail Compliance & Excellence
Ensure fixture and brand compliance across all retailers, maintaining the integrity of the Oura brand experience at every location.
Lead periodic in‑store audits and partner with retailers or field teams to monitor compliance and execution quality.
Maintain documentation and a centralized repository for visual merchandising guidelines, standards, and assets.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or fixture program management, preferably in consumer electronics, wearables, or premium lifestyle brands.
Proven experience managing end‑to‑end retail fixture and display programs for major retailers such as Best Buy, Target, Costco, and Walmart.
Strong project management skills with experience overseeing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Experience managing CAPEX budgets, including forecasting, vendor negotiations, and cost tracking.
Deep understanding of retail environments, materials, fabrication processes, and installation logistics.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated success collaborating cross‑functionally and managing multiple external vendors or agencies.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, or Monday.com) and familiarity with design software (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
Ability to travel (up to 20%) for site visits, installations, and retail audits.

Salary Range (US) – by Region
Region 1: $143,650 – $169,000
Region 2: $130,050 – $153,000
Region 3: $117,500 – $138,000
Oura takes a market‑based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
