Role reports to Finance Director Global SC FPA
Location North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit
Work Location Hybrid
What you will do This role provides leadership in across Global Supply Chain finance reporting and analytics, working in close partnership with the Regional Supply Chain Finance and Operations leaders. You will lead and develop a team of two direct reports and a total organization of eight employees.
Key responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to, the following activities:
Lead review of financial closing, financial forecasts and analyses of results to drive profitable decision making, with significant exposure to senior leadership across the business and finance
Cultivate strong partnership with regional supply chain finance teams, commercial FP&A and supply chain leadership
Actively participate in the implementation of new finance technology to facilitate the team’s work (OneStream, Fin DnA)
Drive automation and standardization of key financial reports and planning/closing processes
Evaluate financial models and analyses of different strategic decisions
Analyze and report on supply chain performance metrics
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risk
Promote a work environment that challenges the status quo, and leads and adapts to change while managing ambiguity
Lead, coach and develop a team of professionals responsible for managing supply chain financial operations
Ensure that financial processes are compliant with all relevant regulations and accounting standards
Supporting special projects
The successful candidate will be a proactive, independent worker that can deliver outstanding results by pivoting seamlessly from the details to the big picture, creating and building upon existing processes, partnering with cross-functional leaders to shape deliverables with analytics. A process-oriented and innovation mindset coupled with excellent communication & framing skills will also be critical to the success of this individual. This role requires partnership, interaction and influencing with numerous stakeholders across all levels in a highly dynamic organization.
What we are looking for Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
Minimum of 8 years of finance experience
Strong financial acumenand a compliance mindset
Advanced English
Ability to adapt and lead in a changing and matrixed environment
Ability to lead, develop and coach high performing teams with a proven track record of elevating employee/team performance
Previous experience in process improvement, change management (leading & advancing change), project management, lean thinking, continuous improvement, process mapping and/or process excellence
Analytical and problem-solving skills; including proficiency in SAP, OneStream, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as experience with tools like Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau to automate work
Excellent communication, interpersonal and shaping skills (including ability to influence and interact with all levels of management within and outside of finance)
Self-motivated with an ability to drive business results independently
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
Experience as Finance or related business partner
Financial modeling skills
Desired
An MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred
Finance experience in Supply Chain, Commercial and Consumer Products industries as well as Public Accounting
Cost and Inventory accounting experience preferable
Prior FP&A experience is preferable
What’s in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$153,850.00 - $217,200.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
