Job Overview The Quality Manager supports the design and implementation of evidence‑based clinical processes with high reliability throughout USC Arcadia Hospital. The manager oversees the department’s use of clinical databases and healthcare analytics to provide data support for clinical improvement initiatives and manages departmental requests for clinical data.
Responsibilities
Lead departmental use of clinical databases and analytics to support quality improvement initiatives.
Coordinate resources to collect, analyze and report reliable information, ensuring transparency in key metrics and identifying improvement opportunities.
Oversee data coordinators, peer review staff, infection control staff and manage data requests.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in quality/process improvement and data management.
Minimum 3 years of experience overseeing process improvement.
Registered Nurse – RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing) license required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, statistical data analysis software and hospital data management systems.
Preferred
Master’s degree.
Lean Six Sigma Accredited certification in Lean Healthcare or Six Sigma Black Belt.
CPHQ Certified associate in Project Management.
