Exceptional Learners Collaborative
(ELC), a special education cooperative located in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The ELC serves students with special needs from ages 3 to 22 across eight elementary schools, four junior high/middle schools, and one high school.
Description
Lead and ensure the fiscal functions of the ELC run smoothly and efficiently
Participate as part of the district leadership team, focused on the ELC mission, vision, and goals
Serve as chief financial advisor to the Superintendent on matters related to finance, buildings, and operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in School Business Management, Business Management, or Accounting (CPA preferred), or Education
Sound overall knowledge of accounting, budgeting, payroll, benefits, and financial reporting, with relevant work experience
Experience as a Chief School Business Official

Salary & Benefit Information
Pay ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 depending on education level and experience
Position is a 12‑month appointment
