Sales Specialist Contractor (Opportunity for Full-Time) Sales Specialist (Full-Cycle · 3-Month Contract → Opportunity for Full-Time)

Metafoodx is growing, and we’re looking for a Sales Contractor to run full-cycle sales in a fast-moving, AI-driven startup transforming foodservice operations.

This is a 3-month contractor role (part-time) designed for motivated junior sales talent who can own the full pipeline -- from prospecting to closing. High performers will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time sales role after the contract period.

What You’ll Do

Own the entire sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing

Target operators in universities, corporate dining, healthcare, hospitality, and restaurant groups

Run structured outbound campaigns (calls, email, LinkedIn)

Qualify prospects and articulate Metafoodx’s value in a clear, compelling way

Collaborate with sales leadership to improve messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy

Track pipeline accurately and meet weekly activity and conversion goals

Performance & Full-Time Conversion To be considered for conversion into a full-time sales position, you’ll be evaluated on:

Meeting the predefined activity and revenue criteria during the 3-month contract

Consistent pipeline creation and follow-through

Demonstrated ability to own full-cycle sales with professionalism and urgency

Compensation

Compensation includes a modest base pay (starting at $2,000, depending on experience and performance potential) with additional commission based on closed deals. Full-time roles include base salary, commission, and equity.

Who You Are

Early-career sales professional or someone eager to develop in full-cycle B2B sales

Strong communicator who is confident speaking with decision-makers

Motivated by measurable goals and results

A self-starter who thrives with ownership and independence

Interest in technology for foodservice, sustainability, or AI is a plus

Prior SDR or AE experience is helpful but not required
