We are hiring an early‑career Software Engineer to support embedded and edge software development within a global technology leader in the semiconductor and wireless communications space. This role offers hands‑on experience working close to hardware, system‑level software, and automation in a highly technical onsite environment.
Location Fully onsite
Duration: 9 months Pay Rate: $50 to $55 per hour
What You’ll Do Support the design, development, validation, and debugging of embedded and edge software Analyze user needs and translate them into software requirements Design and implement small software features for production systems Debug software issues at the Windows and API level Develop automation scripts using Python or Perl Participate in unit testing, regression testing, and integration efforts Assist with code reviews and issue triage to ensure software quality Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams Write and maintain technical documentation
Required Qualifications 1 to 3 years of experience with C or C++ 1+ year of Windows debugging experience 1+ year debugging software APIs 1+ year developing automation scripts using Python or Perl Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
