What You Will Achieve In this role, you will:
Vision and Strategy
Lead and develop a high-performing team of digital product managers focused on medical evidence and RWD initiatives
Defines and owns the vision and strategy for digital capabilities that enable Integrated Evidence Generation (IEG) at Pfizer, emphasizing a data & product‑centric model that supports Pfizer’s IEG strategy through cutting‑edge digital technologies.
Anticipates technology trends, prioritizing investments in AI and automation that enable scalable, efficient acceleration and delivery of innovation to the MED business specifically RWD generation and cross‑functional approach to IEG.
Collaborates across Digital and business areas to architect and scale innovations that strengthen Pfizer’s RWE generation and IEG strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Strategic Leadership
Establishes, matures, and governs a strategic product and digital operating model, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and continuous evolution to meet business needs.
Operationalizes emerging technologies through robust governance frameworks, aligning with Pfizer R&D, regulatory, compliance, and patient‑centric objectives.
Designs and leads a strategic vendor framework to manage partnerships with critical vendors (e.g., Deloitte, Salesforce), ensuring quality delivery and scalability.
Leads AI delivery to embed machine learning and automation into IEG strategy, while building process mining capabilities to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement in the digital delivery model.
Program Delivery Leadership
Owns global digital program delivery, ensuring efficient scaling of solutions and streamlined delivery processes across IEG and RWE platforms/products/solutions.
Drives delivery of global, enterprise, and SaaS solutions with a focus on accelerating the time to deliver an a strategic cross‑functional approach to planning and producing medical evidence across the entire drug development lifecycle.
Oversees delivery management and engineering leadership for IEG and RWE and processing platforms/products/solutions, with Digital portfolio (10+ applications, and financials ($10M-$50M), ensuring predictable, high‑quality outcomes.
Demonstrates command of modern delivery methodologies (Agile, DevSecOps) and enforces practices that reduce cycle times and improve delivery efficiency.
Accountable for financial stewardship, including accurate forecasting, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing to scale delivery without compromising quality.
Accountable for representing the IEG and RWE Digital portfolio in support of BOH inspections and corporate audits. This includes, but not limited to, answering inspection/audit queries to being questioned by an inspector and audit.
Accountable for ensuring the IEG and RWE portfolio of platforms/products/tools meets or exceeds the GxP compliance required by both internal and external guidelines, policies and procedures.

Creates an environment that champions a product mindset, continuous improvement, and AI innovation while delivering complex solutions at scale.
Mentors and coaches team members to build technical capabilities and a product mindset, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and agility.

Strategic Relationships
Builds strong partnerships with MED IEG, and RWE business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor for digital strategies that allow a strategic, cross‑functional approach to planning and producing evidence across the entire drug development lifecycle. Instead of creating separate, siloed evidence plans for clinical, regulatory, market access, and medical affairs, IEG consolidates these into a unified framework that addresses the needs of all stakeholders—regulators, payers, clinicians, and patients—early and holistically.
Aligns digital product roadmaps with evolving MEG needs, translating complex capabilities into specific, actionable business value.
Fosters collaboration between IEG and RWE and digital innovation teams to embed clinical priorities into technology roadmaps, ensuring shared ownership and scalable delivery.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with at least 8 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 7 years of experience or PhD with at least 5 years of experience.
Life sciences experience preferred or equivalent experience leading platforms and large-scale systems
Experience in digital product management and 5+ years in a leadership capacity with increasing scope of responsibility
Proven experience working and building relationships with senior business Executives and leadership teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship management
Demonstrated ability and experience in technology solutions delivery in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment with demonstrated capabilities managing large scale, enterprise software requirements definition, designs and implementations in global 24‑by‑7 environments
Ability to understand large-scale system implementations in different technology focus areas
Proven experience leading product management teams or functions, with accountability for strategy, execution, and cross‑functional alignment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
Adaptable and demonstrates flexibility in the face of shifting targets, thrives in new situations

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169,700.00 to $282,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
