About the Roles:
WEST VIRGINIA (USA). West Virginia University Medicine (WVU Medicine), the state’s largest and most comprehensive health system, is seeking a Medical Director, Pathology as well as board certified/eligible Pathologist in Wheeling, WV.
The WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital's high performing, four-member, Pathology team thrives in a dynamic, community setting within a collaborative, integrated network having a hand in both surgical pathology and cytopathology. Both outstanding opportunities are non-academic and oUer up to $50,000 in sign on bonus.
Qualifications for Pathologist:
MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia (and adjacent states as needed)
Board certified/eligible in AP or AP/CP
Commitment to diagnostic excellence, collegiality, and patient care
Qualifications for Medical Director:
MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia (and adjacent states as needed)
Board certified/eligible in AP or AP/CP
Five years of experience in a Pathologist position
