Responsibilities
Perform pre- and post-operative assessments for cardiothoracic surgery patients.
Assist in surgical procedures and manage patient care throughout hospitalization.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Provide patient education and support during recovery.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Skills Needed
Strong knowledge of cardiothoracic surgical procedures and patient management.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
Current Illinois NP licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.
