Solutions Engineering

About the Company We are a Series A, venture-backed startup based in Palo Alto, building next-generation foundation models that bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and the physical world. Our platform transforms real-time sensor and environmental data into actionable insights, allowing users to interact naturally with their physical surroundings.

Our team is comprised of industry veterans from top-tier tech companies and research labs. We are moving quickly to deploy our technology across enterprise sectors and are looking for builders who thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments.

About the Role We are seeking a

Software Engineer

to join our Solutions team in a critical internal enablement capacity. This is a builder’s role: you will architect and develop the frameworks, tooling, and reusable integration layers that empower our field teams to demonstrate value to customers faster.

You will sit at the intersection of product engineering and customer implementation. Your focus will be on creating production‑grade “building blocks”—modular backends, repeatable data pipelines, and interactive demos that turn complex AI capabilities into tangible solutions for enterprise clients.

Core Responsibilities

Full‑Stack Tooling: architect and build internal developer tools, demo platforms, and reusable applications that showcase predictive analytics and operational intelligence.

System Architecture: design modular, extensible frameworks that allow Solutions Engineers to rapidly spin up custom implementations without reinventing the wheel.

Data Engineering: construct robust data ingestion pipelines capable of handling high‑throughput messaging (e.g., Kafka) and real‑time streams.

Connectivity & Integration: implement protocol‑level adapters for diverse data sources, including REST APIs, video streams (RTSP), and industrial telemetry.

Infrastructure & DevOps: manage CI/CD workflows and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) to ensure reliable delivery of sales assets and proofs‑of‑concept.

Documentation: create clear internal guides, templates, and architectural decision records to ensure scalability and repeatability across the team.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a mix of backend systems and frontend application development.

Strong expertise in TypeScript and Python, with exposure to compiled languages (e.g., Go, Rust, or C#).

Practical experience with modern frontend frameworks (Svelte, React, or similar) and data visualization libraries.

Proven ability to build pipelines using message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.

Familiarity with industrial or hardware communication standards (MQTT, OPC‑UA, Modbus) and standard API patterns.

A strong grasp of clean architecture, modular design patterns, and separation of concerns in distributed systems.

Excellent written communication skills with the ability to collaborate asynchronously across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building SDKs, plugin architectures, or “developer experience” (DevEx) tools.

Background in Industrial IoT (IIoT), physical security, or smart infrastructure.

Familiarity with AI‑assisted coding workflows (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate prototyping.

Experience with observability stacks and performance tuning for real‑time applications.

Previous experience in a technical consulting, sales engineering, or forward‑deployed engineering role.

We Would Love To See

Production experience integrating Machine Learning or Large Language Models into workflows.

Knowledge of edge computing constraints and low‑latency data processing.

Experience navigating complex enterprise requirements and compliance standards.
