Duties

You will serve as the Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) for Product Support for the Hypersonic Weapon System program office.

You will be responsible for the Hypersonic Weapon System comprehensive product support strategy (PSS), and be formally designated as the Product Support Manager (PSM).

You will define and manage the Product Support budget and provide technical input to both acquisition and contract strategies.

You will manage program planning and execution of Hypersonic Weapon System Production, Logistics, and Facilities from research and development through production and fleet use.

You will plan, budget and technically manage missile procurement, production and associated logistics support.

You will draft, analyze, integrate, review and provide recommendations to Senior Strategic System Programs Leadership for milestone and other documentation in accordance with Government, DOD, and Navy regulations.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen.

Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).

You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
