Qualifications
Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
Active and unencumbered RN license
1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Skilled in ECG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities
Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
Collaborate with providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, focusing on patient’s cardiac status
Educate patients and families on heart health, treatment plans, and home‑care instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient’s condition, treatment, and progress per hospital policies
