Job Overview
The role of Director, IT Enablement is a senior level position responsible for maximizing the use of our current applications environment. This senior IT leader will evangelize, implement and drive the adoption of new functionality within our SAP ecosystem to benefit the business. The successful candidate will partner with executive, business and IT leaders to design and execute technology solutions that bring measurable business benefits. This position reports to the VP, IT Enterprise Platform Solutions. Key Responsibilities
Create an applications enablement roadmap for Hubbell’s SAP S/4 HANA RISE environment that leverages unused functionality to drive automation and streamlined processes. Partner with leaders across business functions and IT to develop and communicate the roadmap from corporate and segment executive levels down to mid‑management and individual contributors. Partner with business functions and IT to execute enablement roadmap projects such as ship and debit solutions, sales commissions processing, global available‑to‑promise, real‑time data analytics, Fiori utilization, Joule utilization, etc. Drive core process clean‑up by eliminating custom code and optimizing standard industry application offerings. Rationalize the current application solution environment. Manage select enablement projects from kickoff to go‑live. Qualifications
10‑20+ years of progressive experience in the ERP applications space, including at least 5 years in an SAP S/4 HANA environment (required). 10+ years of leadership managing organizations, setting strategic objectives, overseeing budgets, and achieving enterprise goals (required). Full understanding of SAP S/4 HANA functionality across all business functions (required – Fiori/Joule a plus). Excellent communication and presentation skills (required). Ability to partner, influence, and build strong internal and external relationships (required). Strong desire and ability to mine information from partners, vendors, and internal resources (required). Significant experience with process re‑design in an SAP environment (strongly preferred). Track record of implementing technology solutions that brought benefit to functional processes (required). Experience with CMDB and application rationalization (strongly preferred).
