Job Summary Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, conducts and performs MRI examinations, and assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as described or required. The incumbent is required to work as a CT Tech when needed, and will be paid their primary “MRI” rate when asked to perform CT scans.

Responsibilities

Conduct MRI examinations with independent judgment and technical expertise.

Perform technical procedures as described or required.

Operate as a CT Technologist when necessary and receive MRI rate compensation for CT scans.

Required Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program

Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Within 1 year of hire :

National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging – or –

National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with at least one-year experience in an MRI department preferred

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of experience in a CT Scan or MRI department
