Crown Peak Advisors is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Managing Director to help expand and grow our platform. The role is based at our headquarters in Miami, Florida, with the flexibility to work fully remote.
The Managing Director will be responsible for originating new business, leading client engagements, executing and closing transactions, and mentoring junior team members. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in middle‑market M&A advisory, strong client relationship skills and a well‑developed professional network.

Key Responsibilities
Originate and execute new client engagements by actively pursuing business development opportunities aligned with Crown Peak’s strategy
Lead client relationships and transactions end‑to‑end, serving as the primary client contact and overseeing deal teams throughout the engagement lifecycle
Drive transaction execution, from initial pitch through closing, demonstrating strong negotiation, execution, and closing capabilities
Leverage and continue to expand an established professional network to generate new deal flow and referral relationships
Provide leadership, mentorship and professional development to junior team members
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, delivering thoughtful guidance at key decision points and clearly communicating complex financial information
Maintain deep industry knowledge and subject‑matter expertise within the IT services and/or broader technology and business services sectors
Actively participate in industry events, conferences, speaking opportunities and marketing initiatives to enhance firm visibility and brand awareness
Contribute meaningfully to the firm’s strategic direction, culture and platform development as a senior leader helping build a differentiated advisory firm
Qualifications
Exceptional work ethic, integrity and professionalism, with 12+ years of investment banking or M&A advisory experience
Demonstrated track record of originating, leading and closing investment banking and M&A transactions
Established relationships and a strong professional network within the IT services and/or broader technology and business services sectors
Proven experience managing client relationships, transactions and deal teams on a day‑to‑day basis
Deep understanding of the M&A process, including strategy development, deal structuring and negotiation
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or JD preferred
Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
Travel will be required on an as‑needed basis, depending on client engagements. This role will initially be non‑salaried, with compensation provided through a competitive fee‑split arrangement on transactions originated by the Managing Director.
