Senior Project Manager
to join our
Service Solutions Engineering
organization. This team develops, releases, and maintains the applications, tools, and technologies that enable world‑class service delivery for our global installed base. In this role, you will lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives spanning service applications, tooling, design engineering, and emerging technology development. This is a high‑visibility position that works closely with PLCS leadership, Service Operations, Product Deployment Operations, Design Engineering, Marketing, and other partners across the organization.
What You Will Do Project Leadership
Lead end‑to‑end development, release, and lifecycle management of service applications, service tooling, and support technologies.
Drive productivity and process engineering projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and adoption of new tools and methods.
Manage project planning, scope definition, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and execution tracking.
Ensure all deliverables comply with medical device design control and regulated development processes.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Coordinate cross‑functional activities across Service Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Field Operations, and Product Development.
Facilitate project event meetings focused on scoping, status, coordination, and decision‑making.
Partner with Continuing Engineering on design corrections, iterations, and tooling modifications.
Support breakthrough initiatives and early‑phase research/technology evaluations.
Governance, Communication & Reporting
Monitor and report on project progress, budget/spend, and critical milestones.
Provide clear, concise communication to leadership—up to Director and VP levels—including program reviews, risk escalations, and launch readiness updates.
Support organizational portfolio planning and prioritization.
Team & Portfolio Management
Directly manage a portfolio of 4–7 active projects.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and execution support to junior project managers responsible for 3–5 additional projects.
A Typical Day Includes
Maintaining project schedules, risks, and execution plans.
Running project meetings for scope review, coordination, and status updates.
Conducting stakeholder check‑ins and cross‑functional alignment sessions.
Reviewing launch progress, adoption metrics, and readiness barriers.
Preparing and delivering leadership updates and program reviews.
What You Will Have
Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
Proven experience managing technology or engineering projects, preferably within a medical device or other regulated environment.
Proficiency with standard business and productivity tools (MS Office suite).
Experience with ERP/HCM systems such as Workday is desirable.
Core Competencies
Strong understanding of engineering workflows, design controls, and structured development processes.
Excellent cross‑functional communication skills with the ability to lead without authority.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
Experience in design engineering, service tooling, or hardware/software product development is highly beneficial.

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $129,900 - $178,618. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance. The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long‑term and short‑term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time.
