What You Will Do
Contribute to the nursing assessment by collecting, reporting, and recording objective and subjective data.
Provide direct care in a safe manner.
Evaluate the plan of care on a continuous basis.
Communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, with patients/families and other health team members.
Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery in the assigned area.
Education / Training Requirements
Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing – LPN.
Experience Requirements
No prior work experience required.
Licenses & Certifications Requirements
Basic Life Support – American Heart Association.
Licensed Practical Nurse – Arkansas (Arkansas State Board of Nursing).
Licensed Practical Nurse – Mississippi (Mississippi Board of Nursing).
Licensed Practical Nurse – Tennessee (Tennessee Board of Nursing).
Physical Demands
Climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
Must have good balance and coordination.
Exert up to 50 lb of force occasionally or 25 lb frequently.
Requires close visual acuity for assessing patients, the use of a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact.
Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous or poisonous materials.
Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
