We areseeking a Locums OB/GYN Physician to provide in-house coverage at a busycommunity hospital in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. This role offers a variedschedule, strong nursing support, and the opportunity to work closely withOB/GYN residents in a collegial environment.
Compensation $240 Per Hour

ClinicalResponsibilities
Cover Labor & Delivery floor andED OB/GYN consults
Perform gynecologic emergencysurgeries as needed
Manage laboring patients fromsign-out through delivery
Participate in daily nursing huddlesand coordinated care
Work primarily with an OB/GYNresident; physician functions independently
Nurses may escalate to backup MDs ifadditional support is required
PatientVolume & Acuity
Average Deliveries:
2–3 per day
Case Mix:
Mostlylow-risk with some medium- and high-risk patients
Nursery Level:
Level II
Gestational Age:
Deliveriesfor patients ≥32 weeks
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible inOB/GYN
Comfortable with in-house solocoverage and emergency GYN cases
Strong collaborative skills withresidents and nursing staff
Active New Jersey medical license(or ability to obtain)
