Position Summary The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at OfCorsica is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the General Manager in all aspects of day‑to‑day restaurant operations. The AGM helps ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience, oversees team performance, drives revenue goals, and promotes a warm, high‑performance culture grounded in the hospitality and values of the Mediterranean. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about service, food, wine, and people.

Tasks / Responsibilities

Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily front‑of‑house operations and guest experience

Lead, train, and motivate FOH teams to meet service standards, guest satisfaction goals, and performance expectations

Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) regularly, maintaining floor presence, managing service flow, and resolving guest issues

Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews in collaboration with HR and senior leadership

Monitor labor costs, scheduling, and service efficiencies to support financial targets

Drive sales and brand initiatives including promotions, private events, wine programming, and upselling strategies

Ensure alignment with OfCorsica’s hospitality standards, cultural values, and brand identity

Collaborate closely with culinary and beverage teams to maintain service readiness and menu knowledge across staff

Oversee safety, sanitation, and compliance with local health and liquor laws

Analyze daily reports and KPIs, offering insight to improve operations, sales, and team accountability

Support inventory, ordering, and cost control in alignment with GM and department heads

Participate in planning and execution of marketing initiatives, events, and seasonal programming

Qualifications

3–5 years of restaurant management experience in a fast‑paced, high‑touch hospitality setting

Demonstrated leadership and team development skills with a passion for mentoring others

Strong understanding of restaurant financials including labor, COGS, and budgeting

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving abilities

Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical stamina to be on your feet for long hours and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
