Responsibilities

Manage capital program engineering design and construction projects or programs in assigned areas from conceptual design through completion; project areas may include Trackwork, station improvements, Traction Power and electrical systems, automated fare collection, and other tasks as needed for state-of-good repair.

Perform construction project management duties; prepares cost estimates; prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets; conducts field inspections as required; monitors work in progress.

See that the proactive project management system plans, organizes, controls, and evaluates all work.

Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.

Implement, monitor, and support company policy.

Work with multidiscipline teams and manage technical personnel.

Perform other duties as needed.

This is a FULL TIME opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification

Understanding of traction power systems for various transit agencies

Ability to handle multiple assignments

Ability to interact with various design teams and have excellent organizational, project management, and communication (both written and verbal) skills

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

10 years related experience

A minimum 5 years project management experience

Professional Engineer (PE) license

MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)

Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
