Department The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Cardiologist to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
Position Overview The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible noninvasive cardiologist to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant or associate professor rank. The successful candidate will focus on routine and complex cardiovascular care, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. Interests in clinical and extramurally funded research desirable. Interest or experience in imaging is a must. The Ohio State University Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is setting new standards for advanced heart and vascular care through its internationally and nationally recognized experts.
Requirements
Board Eligible/Certified
Successful completion of a US accredited cardiology fellowship
Eligible for an Ohio License
Clinical and extramurally funded research desirable
Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic
Rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
Location: Twelfth Ave, 395 W (0356), Columbus, Ohio.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
