Job Description Job Description Service Manager - HVAC Service Manager - HVAC Position Overview The Service Manager - HVAC will oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients. This role involves managing technicians, optimizing service procedures, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations while striving for operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians to ensure efficient service delivery. Schedule and assign service calls and maintenance tasks to technicians. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations in all HVAC service operations. Provide training and support to technicians on HVAC systems, including split systems, cooling towers, RTUs, and VRFs. Monitor and evaluate the performance of service staff and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities. Develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and service efficiency. Manage inventory and ordering of HVAC parts and equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including split systems, cooling towers, RTUs, and VRFs. Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations regarding HVAC operations.
