Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Residential Group Home team. This position is located near the major intersections of Concord Pike (Route 202) and Foulk Road in North Wilmington, Delaware 19803. Some responsibilities include: To provide direct care and supervision to participants in the residential group home setting. To ensure a safe, healthy, secure and recovery-oriented environment, which promotes growth and development. To facilitate participant growth and development toward independence in self-care, daily living, socialization and community integration. To participate in the development and implementation of the participants’ recovery plans. Hiring for full-time work schedules Total of 40 hours, M-F and 3P-11P workweek Yes, we can! Work around candidates’ advance notices and their current schedules to support the new hire’s start date and participation in our day-shift orientation. Orientation is held Monday–Thursday for the first four days, eight hours per day, at our Philadelphia location. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required and active Delaware state license certification CNA. Ability to respond to disruptive behavior. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge and ability to provide hands on assistance with activities of daily living. Possess a valid driver’s license with and acceptable driving record. Scope: A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in a residential group home. Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which includes direct intervention with participants. Ability to climb and descend stairs. Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Requires crisis intervention techniques in crisis situations.
