Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team in a dynamic role focused on automation testing. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing and maintaining automation frameworks and will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Prior experience of 7 Years in the Automation Testing
• Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium (Java), Rest Assured, Postman, and Swagger.
• Experience with frameworks like BDD/TDD (Cucumber), Page Object Model, and Hybrid Automation Frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience in database testing using MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) and BDD/TDD (Cucumber).
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Rest Assured.
• Implement database automation and validate backend processes using MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure test coverage for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
