Location Chicago, IL Introduction We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team in a dynamic role focused on automation testing. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing and maintaining automation frameworks and will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Prior experience of 7 Years in the Automation Testing Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium (Java), Rest Assured, Postman, and Swagger. Experience with frameworks like BDD/TDD (Cucumber), Page Object Model, and Hybrid Automation Frameworks. Strong proficiency in Java programming. Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions. Experience in database testing using MS SQL Server and Oracle. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with cloud-based testing environments. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) and BDD/TDD (Cucumber). Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Rest Assured. Implement database automation and validate backend processes using MS SQL Server and Oracle. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Ensure test coverage for functional, integration, and regression testing.
