As a Technical Machine Operator, you will: Perform equipment set-up and maintain equipment for automation manufacturing. Develop work instructions for key pieces of operational equipment to leverage standardization across line and shifts. Analyze and observe processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used. Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on equipment and integration. Troubleshoot, conduct tests and diagnose malfunctioning or poor performing equipment. Work with maintenance team to identify equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality. Partners and work closely with operations, maintenance, onsite IT, leadership team and equipment manufacturer. Auditing data collection tools and processes to ensure data integrity Work with maintenance to review and update PM program to ensure consistent uptime and reduce overall downtime. Work with maintenance inventory team to ensure critical spare parts are available to prevent operational downtime, ensure safety, and maintain production continuity. Work with maintenance to review the critical spare parts list and have updated, as needed. Daily on the job training and guidance to the key team members in operations to enable equipment to run efficiently. This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. Required Skills & Qualifications: Two-year associate degree in industrial automation, engineering, robotics, or similar degree is required with 2-4 years' experience or 5 years of working experience in related fields. Candidate will undergo a 6-week training program in Kansas City focused on the Weber Machine, gaining knowledge in troubleshooting, repairing, and operating the equipment. Experience leading or working with a team integrating production system and machinery. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members. Experience auditing systems, diagnosing, and resolving first line issues and coordinating with Maintenance teams on root cause analysis. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel. Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural/equipment manuals. Experience with automated slicing systems, weighing systems, transport systems, vision systems, smart sensors, PLC's, labelers and case packaging systems is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot, identify, diagnose, and resolve issues on various pieces of hardware and/or software platforms. Preferred Skills: Two-year associate degree in industrial automation, engineering, robotics, or similar degree is preferred.
