Certified Nursing Assistant- Full Time - Weekend Shift

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Summary: Redefined Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. CNAs provide direct patient care and support to individuals in a healthcare setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities: - Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating - Follow care plans created by healthcare professionals and report any changes in patient condition - Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse - Assist in patient mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment - Monitor patients for changes in behavior, condition, or vital signs - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients - Maintain a clean and organized patient environment - Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program - Current CNA certification and CPR certification - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Compassionate and patient-focused attitude - Ability to work well as part of a team - Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant - Additional certifications or training in specific healthcare areas - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing skills This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities or requirements.
