Job Summary: The Asset Approval Team within the Lender Financing group is seeking experienced Analyst to Associate level candidates to join the team. The role involves collaboration with internal teams, execution and ongoing management of lending facilities, collateral review, and internal reporting.
Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate internally with client coverage and structuring teams to execute and close Direct Lender Financing facilities. Provide ongoing servicing and management of lending facilities by reviewing, approving, and communicating underlying loan and collateral approvals to external clients. Review and value underlying loan collateral. Create internal presentation materials reviewing leveraged finance metrics and reporting to various internal committees to demonstrate the market environment for private credit. Communicate internally and with partners the teams view of client investment strategy and collateral pool statistics.
Qualifications: Experience working in corporate finance, accounting, or a valuation firm. Completion of a formal credit training program with a reputable investment or commercial bank is preferred. Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Proactive worker with the ability to work as part of a close-knit team as well as independently. High level of initiative, motivation, attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to work in a project- or deadline-driven environment. Excellent desktop application skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Bachelors degree required.
