As an HVAC Technician , you’ll be a key part of a team that values integrity, quality work, and genuine customer care. You’ll handle maintenance, troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and repairs for both residential and some light-commercial clients. Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by state regulations. Valid Driver’s License Clean background check Drug-Free Preferred Qualifications: EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Experience with advanced HVAC systems, including smart technology integration. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including inspection, cleaning, and replacement of filters, belts, motors, and other components to ensure reliable operation. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues accurately — including mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related problems — and determine the most effective repair solutions. Complete repairs efficiently and safely , following all codes, regulations, and company standards for quality workmanship. Communicate clearly with clients , explaining system issues, recommended repairs, and maintenance options in a professional and easy-to-understand way. Maintain detailed service records for each job, documenting findings, parts used, and work completed. Respond promptly to service calls , ensuring that customers receive timely assistance for heating and cooling concerns. Test and calibrate equipment to confirm systems are operating efficiently and within manufacturer specifications. Identify opportunities for system improvements or upgrades that enhance energy efficiency, comfort, and performance. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, assist on complex jobs, and uphold safety and service standards. Skills: The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC technician with a solid understanding of residential and light commercial systems, including maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. You should have hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems, and be comfortable reading schematics and technical diagrams. A valid HVAC license and EPA certification are preferred, though we’re open to motivated candidates who are actively working toward certification. You take pride in problem-solving and delivering quality work that stands up over time. Clear communication with clients is key — you know how to explain issues and solutions in a way that builds trust and confidence. Safety and professionalism come naturally to you, from how you handle tools and materials to how you represent yourself on the job. You’re dependable, manage your time well, and can handle multiple service calls without cutting corners. A clean driving record and valid driver’s license are required, and physical stamina is important since the work often involves lifting, climbing, and working in tight spaces. Above all, you bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help people stay safe and comfortable in their homes and businesses. Pay Structure: This is a performance-based pay position designed to reward skill, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Our technicians currently average $40-$60 per hour under this structure. Compensation includes base pay for service and maintenance calls, along with commissions and spiffs for qualified sales and high-quality service performance. Weekly pay and overtime eligibility are included.
