Regional Physical Security Technician

Salary: $35.00 - $42.00/hr Full Time + Overtime + Benefits

Bright Minds' leading technology services client is searching for an experienced Physical Security Technician to join their fast-growing team in the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience installing and configuring Lenel S2, Avigilon, DMP, Bosch, Genetec, Milestone or Axis products for physical security systems including access control systems (power supplies, control boards, electromechanical locking, and cabling), IP video systems (cable, coaxial and network cameras, network switches), powered pedestrian door operators and sliders, vehicle gate systems, audio systems, and turnstiles. This is a client-facing role so strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are key.

In this position you will travel to various distribution centers, hospitals, banks, and enterprise environments and partner with clients for new installations and servicing access control, surveillance, and large security systems in the Greater Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Requirements for the Regional Physical Security Technician:

• 3-5+ years of experience designing, installing, and configuring physical security systems
• Strong knowledge and experience with Lenel S2, Avigilon, DMP, Bosch, Genetec, Milestone, or Axis products and solutions
• LenelS2 or other security certifications are highly desired
• Ability to configure and deploy access control, surveillance systems, and physical security platforms such as Lenel, DMP, Bosch, Genetec, Avigilon, etc.
• Strong project management experience
• Experience and desire to lead, manage, and mentor a team of junior- to mid-level physical security technicians
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams

*Must pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious violations in the last three years)
